Charlie I have a couple of questions for you.....
  1. What's your piston to valve clearance like with the camshaft you're running?
  2. What was your configuration with the previous dyno session you had? What has changed since then other than the intake manifold?

Like Joe, I'm starting to turn blue over here... Can't wait to see some results other than the one blown TBSS article.

i can answer these.

1. he didnt measure the piston to valve clearance.
2. the only change since his last dyno time is the manifold. inside info tells me that he is on the way to the dyno as i type this

if im at the computer when i get updates, ill post the results as he makes runs if it's cool with charlie.

I have a feeling today is going to be an unproductive day here at work. (anxiously awaiting results). I'm going to solidify my guesstimation at this time. Without the spray and converter locked I'm going to guess you hit 424 RWHP and 415RWTQ. I say this because the heads are the restriction at this point. A nice set of heads and you'll be on your way to 460RWHP and 425RWTQ.

One more question Charlie, did you have any fitment issues with the intake and your heads milled .035"? I'm wondering how close the intake is to the button headed bolts provided with the intake.

I say it is a 15/15 increase across the board below 3500 above that i say 25/25. Peak numbers dont mean squat. Power under the curve produces faster times.

And technically anything between the air filter and exhaust tip is considered a restriction. IMO singling out the heads is just picking one part out of many.

I think he was meaning that all of the other parts have been upgraded. (Kooks, Cam, F.A.S.T, Exhaust, Stock Heads)
