Default fabed y pipe no cats

Decide to get off my *** today and finally went to weld up my y pipe with the flowmaster-y and u-bends I had. All I can say is wow. Even with the stock manifolds still on (thorleys are waiting till tomorrow) It feels as if I gained at least 15rwhp, noticable seat of the pants difference and throttle response just from y pipe and no cats!! below are some pics of the stock ypipe and the flowmaster
Ive got to get some vid up of it with the heads milled .050 and the gt2-5 cam it sounds vicious. This cam really hits around 3k you can feel it almost like a switch it pulls hard uptop.

Im going to have to go with a quiter muffler the 40 flow my ears were ringing after a 20 minute drive.

Any suggestions on a muffler that will knock out raspy sound. But still give a nice rumble.

Lots of the car guys say the twister mufflers do a good job of removing the rasp without sacrificing power.

I used that same flopro Y on my old truck to replace the stock Y merge and head out in a true single 3" catback.

I have a similar setup with a 3" 5x8x18 Magnaflow and it is not raspy.
