Default F-body LS1 heads...any need to do this

I was wondering if I would benefit from putting a set of 02 F-body LS1 heads on my 4.8?
or would it be a waste of time?

thanks

Unless you are running boost or plan to get them decked to restore you compression ratio, I wouldnt do it.

Depends on what you want to do with them in the long run. Stock for stock replacement, I doubt you'll feel any difference. I say this because even though you'll have larger and better flowing valves, you're also dropping your compression ratio. But, if you plan on using them in a forced induction setup, you'll definitely benefit from them IMO. Otherwise I'd say work with what you have.
