Default F-Body Headers on a Truck (long tubes)

I was just wondering if anyone has tried putting F-Body headers on a truck or if anyone has a set of each to compare them side by side to see if it would work. It's my guess that it may work. The engine compartments are no where as tight as they are in F-bodies. I think the floorboards may be an issue. The whole reason I'm asking is you can find tons of new/used F-body headers for around $400 and most long tube truck headers are around $700 and I rarely see them used. I have a 03 SS and most truck headers I see are for both 2wd and 4wd. I know this has been asked before, but if any of you guys have any first hand experience with this I would really appreciate it. I think I just want to hear someone say it will work.
