Experiences with valve spring changes (LS6/LS2/LS3) on a DOD / AFM equiped engine?
Well.. I want to rev my (future) engine up to 6500 rpm (6600 fuel cut off) instead of the stock 6000 rpm. The stock springs are suposed to hold up (on a DD) to 6200 rpm (6300 fuel cut off) from what i hear. No cam change, just milling the heads to 10.7-12.0 CR and a custom Tune.
So... any negative experiences or advice on the springs?

whatever you do, get the correct compressor for your springs.. < like the one i am selling > i tried it once with a shitty spring compressor and ended up not changing them until i got a better tool.
the right tool makes any job easier, and those yellow z06 springs are rated for around .550 lift, i dont know how high they would rev?
