Expected from Hypertech
What kind of gains are expected from a HP3 in the quarter? Is it true that .4 can be taken off?
I'm gonna head to the track soon to actually see the results but I want to get an idea before I get out there.

Re: Expected from Hypertech
Damn Dino, 5 tenths!!! Did it come with a set of ported and milled heads also? I would think you could get 1 tenth and 1 mph, just from the 10-15hp from power tuning, then another tenth for higher shift points and firmer shifts, MAAAYYYBBEE 1 extra tenth between the two but.... I try to see the dyno charts on www.hypertech-inc.com but they don't open. The screen appears but is blank. This was on all of the charts. Anyone know the true HP with the HPP3 and a colder stat with the 93 oct tuning?

WEEELLL? You gonna un-*** the shift points or is that top secret info? I tried manually shifting it at 5800 today and it was dead way before that, I think 5600 is about the best, my tranny shifts at 5600 in over drive.

Re: Expected from Hypertech
But, that 5800 rpms may be weak due to the stock intake system is still in it with the original paper air filter with 32k miles on it. FIPK on the way, that should let it rev a little better.

+5 +12 +0
Rev Limiter: 6200
Use those.........Ofcourse, some guys prefer not to use these, as you DO run your motor, and other guys complain about losing power after about 5800 power range, etc.etc.............I know Bryan (with a 4.8) had to change is 1-2 to +4......but, these settings do shave time.....its up to you if you want to use them, let the timeslips do the talking.....
