Exhaust Smoke

Default Exhaust Smoke

Does your nbs chevy smoke at idle when its around 60*F outside? anyhwere (obv under 32 it will) but 45-65 or so it smokes when it idles...and when I run it hard down the highway people behind me tell me itll smoke for a second or two when im taking off? Normal? I do a lot of highway driving so it cant be built up that bad?

Thats Oil, check your PCV vavle and replace it with a fixed orifice valve and put in a catch can

It doesn't have to be below freezing to see white smoke come out of your exhaust. A thin cloud of white vapor that quickly dissipates after leaving the tailpipe is probably the result of normal condensation buildup inside the exhaust system. It should disappear after only a minute or two of engine operation. It may even be accompanied by a slow drip of water. This is a common sight when cars, even new ones, are first started in the morning, since condensation builds up overnight like dew on the grass.

Ok so apparently i shouldnt be worried, why in the middle of the summer around 50mph floored it would smoke tho? i cant see it out of my mirrors my buddy told me when he was behind me
