Default exhaust setup

Im starting to get the stuff togethor for my full exhaust setup. Im going with lt's, ory pipe (maybe), magnaflow muffler or bullets and electric cutouts. Me and some buds are gonna weld it up one day.
Does it make any difference if I run two cutouts right after the headers or can I just put one after the y pipe?

Im still debating on a true dual setup has anyone assembled one a z71 ext cab and where should the x-pipe be located?
Does it make a performance difference with an xpipe?
Are there any race style bullet mufflers that arent loud. The 40 flow on there now vibrates the **** out of everything around me and while I love setting off car alarms I hate hearing **** rattle in the compartment and the droning/resonance on the highway is gettin old.

Last question is there a performance difference over true duals -vs-off road y setup
I know duals sound better but I more concerned with performance.

The duals will flow better but, if you are running dual cut outs w/ the ory don't worry about it.

Hey, Chris...what's up? In my humble opinion, you will probably get better performance with a single-in/single-out good flowing muffler and 3" pipe. Unless you're over 400HP, true duals are overkill and give you less bang-for-the-buck. Duals are very cool looking/sounding, but usually the single 3"exhaust performs best on our smaller engines. Again, in my opinion.

Well I Dont Have Any Numbers Yet But I Just Put The Asm Lt's On My Truck With 2 High Flow Cats, A X Pipe, And To Dynomax Bullets And I Can Definately Tell The Difference In The Mid Range And Top End Power. If I Lost Any On The Bottom End Like Everybody Said I Would, I Cant Tell! I Say Go True Duals It Sounds Way Better.
