Exhaust selection
#1
I have an oddball setup on my 02 GMC and am having difficulty finding a bolt on cat-back exhaust system.
The reason it's odd (low production numbers) is I ordered a 2500 light duty, cc/sb, 4x4 with the 6.0. Most are 2500HD (bigger frame etc.) or came with the 8.1.
I'm also running a Procharger at 10psi so I need something to allow more cfm.
I like the big Magnaflow muffler with dual 3" in and single 4" out instead of my dual 3" out to a 3" tip but na for my truck unless I build my own.
I don't want noisy and I want side exit for towing.
From my research about bolt ons; Flowmaster no, Magnaflow no, some others no.
What worked for you?
Do I need to make my own?
Thanks, Kit

Maybe I'm missing something but...don't worry about a bolt-on unless you're planning to do it yourself. Any decent muffler shop can replace your existing muffler with the longer Magnaflow with exit pipe and tip of your choice.

I can do it all myself which includes the 4" tailpipe fabbed out mandrel bent stainless but that all takes time which=$ so I was looking for a bolt on or a similar way to free up the system first. For example; if someone discovered the bolt-on catback system from Magnaflow that fits the long bed can be altered slightly (hanger placement, length etc.) to fit my shortbed.
Just throwing it out there before I start ordering pieces to build my own.
Thanks again
