Exhaust Question?
I have a set of LT Pacestetter headers and the Y-pipe ordered, I believe the Y-pipe is 3" but I am not sure. My question is If I run a complete 3" exhaust system is that going to hurt my performance? My current setup is edelbrock shorties, stock Y-pipe and cats, magnaflow x-pipe, and dual flowmaster mufflers. My new setup will be Pacesetter LT, Pacesetter Y-pipe, no cats, magnaflow x-pipe, and dual flowmaster mufflers dumped after the axle. My truck is a rcsb w/ 5.3l. Let me know what you think about using 3" exhaust pipes. Thanks in advance.

That is the exactly what I am trying to compare. I have just heard people say that our trucks need back pressure? Thanks for your reply, a kick *** exhaust system is exactly what I want.
