Is have exhaust cut-outs on my truck llegal in tx,mainly in houston? If i dont get the cut-outs (which i probably wont). I wanna true dual my exhaust with dynomax ultra's. Would that pass inspection?

 

Cutouts are legal as long as they are closed on public roads. As for the exhaust, shouldn't be a problem at all, just incorperate an X-pipe and you should be fine. But I don't think they sniff these trucks down here. I thought they only checked them with the computer back to 96 or something. Could be wrong, but will find out in a couple weeks.

they only plug in ur car if older than 98. thats what the guy told me. but dkubricht i have a exhaust set like the one ur lookin for its a walker x-pipe and (2)dynomax super turbo mufflers for sale. lmk.
