Smile Exhaust Opinions needed inside

So today I picked up a 2006 GMC Sierra Crew Cab with a 5.3L V8. I plan on putting Pacesetter Longtubes and true dualing it out to behind the tires dumped.

My question to yall is, Super 40's or Super 44's ? Also would a H-Pipe be a better idea since im going with a cambered muffler or would X-pipe be the better choice ? Im debating on taking the Cats off but im not quite sure how raspy it will sound due to the length of the piping. For reference I've had a 2006 GTO with SLP longtubes X-pipe and LM2 Exhaust without cats and i loved the sound as well as a 1998 Z-28 with Pacesetter longtubes and 1 Chamber flowmasters with an X-pipe.

Any opinions or sound clips of a similair setup would be greatly apperciated.

Any particular reason for putting duals on? IMO unless you use small pipe, it is really not needed on a basically stock truck, especially one with a 5.3...

I donno man, I just prefer the way the "True Dual" Exhaust sounds over the one in two out setups. I never was a big fan of my Y-pipe setup on my 98Z-28 but when i changed it to the Dual with X-pipe it picked up a ton of midrange + HP along with no sacraficing low end grunt.

I guess i should tell you my plans to give you a better idea. This truck is going to be my Daily driver, so gas mileage is a concern. Im looking at Longtube headers/exhaust, CAI and a Tune for maximizing HP/Mileage as well as tuning the torque management issues i've been hearing about with these 4L65E's.

Thanks for the quick reply, your advice is greatly apperciated. I just don't want to be that guy that wastes hundreds or even thousands till im happy.

Btw, what do you think of a Dual in Dual out Cambered muffler ?

If you care about your gas mileage stick with stock muffler. your gonna gas it more if you hear it. especially with them flows
