I have already cut the muff off my z71 and dumped it under the bed. I was thinking of gutting my cats. Not real sure if I want to do this or not. Will it be too loud. The poilice cheif is my cousin so I don't have to really worry about tickets, just wondering what it will sound like?

 

NO muffler, no cats, yea its gonna be loud. Probably not sound all that good either. You might start seeing some SES lights if you gut the cats, and dont have a tune in your computer. If you want to gut the cats, i would put a muffler on the truck. Will sound much better. IMO

 

What muffler? I had a set of dynomax on my 95 z71 and it was not loud enough for me.
