Default Something for the Radix guys to watch out for...

I was having problems with my IAC not working correctly, have two other posts about it.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=318737
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=318888

Turns out the wire loom for the IAC and TPS was running under the nose of the supercharger, up and around the EGR hose/fitting. It looks like the wire loom must have come in contact with the EGR fitting dealy and melted to it. A couple of the wires had their insulation melted off and were shorting together, causing the IAC to act funky. I patched up the loom and ran the wires over the top of the supercharger nose to keep them away from the EGR.

Might be something the rest of you Radix guys want to check before it becomes an issue for you too....

I don't have the issue you've described, but you never know, this thread might save someone mucho bucks getting trouble shooting done down the road. Good work solving it.

Okeeeeeyyyy...here's the pic of the EGR area....notice the melted plastic still attached to the EGR deal circled in red. Wires were routed under the nose and came up under the EGR...routed the wire harness over the nose of the s/c to keep it away.

I had no problems either for 2+ years, dunno what changed or if it was a gradual thing.
