On a similar topic, how much horsepower do you guys think an exhaust with 3" collectors, 3" catless y pipe, and 3" catback with 3" dmh cutout will support? I am planning a fairly agressive ls1 or 6.0 build also but dont think my current exhaust will support it ( very similar to budhayes but with pacesetter lts) You guys reccomend duals to the op ( i wish i would have done this also to begin with) and so do I. Basically, how much more does an electric cutout help a single exhaust system flow? Sorry for the partial thread jack im trying to contribute to the subject however....

Also for the OP, if you decide to go single exhaust, you could just run the flowmaster of your choice and install an electric cutout in front of it for increased flow if you are worried about it

Ok to answer the OPs question.... 3" Y and Magnaflow dumped.

I have Longtubes, 3" Y and single 16" race bullet dumped. sound WICKED. and NASTY at WOT. Cost under $200 for the bullet and custom 3" Y from my headers back.
