I know I just have to figure out how to get it off, might just have to cut it off with a torch. I dont really want to go that route but I might have too. The secondary latch seems to be siezed up and wont let it drop down more then a couple inches.

I will be running the X as far forward as possible, then into two flowmaster 50 series out the back like it is now one out each side. I am still trying to decide if I am going to put tips on it like now or keep the exhaust kinda out of sight for a cleaner look. I am leaning twards tips just to hopefully keep it quieter and get the exhaust out from under the truck. I really hope its not too loud I am tired of screwing with the exhaust to get the sound I want.

Hopefully the X helps in lowing the sound level, everyone says they do and that you want them as close to the headers as possible. Anyone have expirence with this?

Well I got the exhaust done today, ummm... Its loud in the cab below 1600 rpm or so. On initial Startup it barks pretty loud then has a nice rumbly idle. Did a couple WO runs and it sounds great so far, no rasp or crackle. Not sure what I can do about the drone below 1600rpm, I did turndowns but they are all the way back by the bumper so I wouldnt think they would make it that much louder. Oh well, its not my DD so Ill worry about it later.
