Default Everyone Agree With this Post...?

I found this post in my continuing search for whether or not to get an x-pipe or not. I was just wondering if the information, in particular #3 Exhaust mid pipe information, was accurate, or at least agreed with most everyone else.

https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...ghlight=X-Pipe

If that is the case, and as this post states, I should be looking at getting an h-pipe not an x-pipe if I want to favor my low end torque. I found this post to be useful except for the fact that most every post I've seen about people wanting an x-pipe for sound and low end torque, nobody has mentioned getting an h-pipe like this post does.

Just a little confused about the whole deal. Does everyone agree that an x-pipe will help sound and high end HP and an h-pipe will help sound and low end torque ??? Or is a mandrel bent Y-pipe the right application for a stock motor?

Just a personal experiance note......I am running a fabricated cat-less Y Pipe and run a single exhaust into my SLP muffler, then I Y it out into dual tailpipes. It's a lot easier for me, I don;t know about anyone else (diffrent strokes for diffrent folks)
