I never have driven a dually but at work last year we bought about 100 of the 1 ton crew cabs with the Allison 5spds in them and they run great.
Nice exceleration for a stinky diesel.

My cousin bought a black Duramax dually ext. cab last fall to pull her horses around, and it's AMAZING how well it pulls. You can't tell that you're even hooked up to a trailer, no matter how big the load is! The downside is that she only got 12.5 MPG pulling a horse and trailer that weighed in around 4,000#. It pulls well, but I can get 15 MPG with my 5.3L pulling 5,400# of car and trailer. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
