et street TUBES??
#1
I am ready to get some ET Streets for my truck and I need some rims. I think I am going to get some factory rims but they are only 7" wide and I wanted to put a 26-11.5-16 on them. So does anyone know where I can get two aluminum 8 or 9 inch wide rims for these tires? I don't care what they look like.
As for as the tubes go, I have been hearing that people get tubes when they buy their et streets. Whats up with that? They said something about not having trouble with the tire so they bought tubes. Please explain.

16X7 stockers will be fine. rule of thumb told to me was,+/- 1" of tire section width which is about 8" on 11.50 radial.
Tubes are good because the air doesn't leak and helps support extra wieght of the Truck. You can get away without them but I can drive mine to the track and back without any worries about tire alone rollin or blowing off the rim.
28x11.50-16 w/tubes.
If you want simple, light, well priced rims call centerline.
You can get wheel deals direct for good prices although the stock 16x7 aluminum are a great light wieght wheel.
