Kumho Ecsta STX Tires?
#3
I have some, 305/50R20's, on all 4 corners of my Tahoe and love em. The ones I have are so wide they'll wander a little on a wet road but the short sidewall makes the truck a lot more fun to drive. There is less road noise with these than the Goodyears on my C5. I have about 5 thousand miles on em and they look brand new and they haven't gotten hard. I can't tell you what kind of traction they'll give you since the ones I have are wider, have a heavy 20" wheel, and different weight distribution on my Tahoe.
I am actually going to put a set on my C5 shortly. If nothing else, they are one of the best deals going. My local Americas Tire Company will always beat tireracks prices, if not on the whole set, they'll match the price and give me free mounting, balancing, disposal etc.

Sleeksilverado, what size tires/wheels are you running? Are they good in the rain? Have you run them at the track? If so, what did you think? Thanks for the replys.

I have the 255/65/16 on stack rims. Dry/Wet traction was improved greatly over the stcok Generals. Havent run them at the track, but I can send them up in smoke pretty easy on the street. From all the research I have done, I don't think you will find a better tire for the price. I bet Discount tire will sell you that tire mounted for what you will pay shipped from tirerack.
