I assume they are the ones on the left. Those are looking good. What is the time frame on your install? Are you doing any work to the heads?

Is that old AMD K6 in the background there part of the new custom PCM?

Cool! They have that slick coating stuff on the skirts.

Can you use regular 6.0 rings?
What the heck are those dimples for?

The dimples in the top of the pistons are to indicate the front of the engine. Some pistons have offset piston pins, these maybe offset, not sure.
If you flip them around they will be noisy if they are offset, but they will make more power
The rings for both the LQ4 and LQ9 are the same.

Are the pistons on the right ,,5.3 litre or lq4 6 litre pistons? They look smaller like 5.3 pistons..If not do the lq4 pistons look the same as the piston on the right but just larger?

In other words , just trying to see what kind of piston tops I have in my 2001 6 litre..

Great pictures Jason..

The right is a stock 6.0L like a HD would have. The flat tops are escalade pistons which is the 345 horse 6.0L

Jason, have you or Joseph checked the weight of the new pistons compared to the old ones? Is that teflon or something like it on the sides of those pistons?

I am sure that the K6 brought you a ton of money.
