Guys on the TahoeYukon forum with the Sport model Escalades (two rear exits, no spare, have upgraded theirs before. Do a search over there 4-5 years back.

 

Just replace your muffler and be done.
Personally I'm a Magnaflow kinda guy but there's plenty to choose from Stainless Bros, Borla, Corsa etc,,,,,

Since you have the premium set up, it would make more sense to replace the muffler. I know I'd love to have that set up on my Tahoe haha.
The majority of the TYF guys replace their mufflers.

im just outside of Indianapolis. I had a “shop” weld up a custom y pipe and it’s a train wreck with booger welds and just junky work. I was really ticked about it. I don’t have the things I need to do it myself, so I’m sort of at the mercy of trying to find someone or just letting a shop do it. I am not sure which muffler to even go with for the swap with the 1 to 2 setup. Of course, if I was able to Do it I could make it work!

 

I feel for ya, hate it when the pros are anything but. This is what turned me into a mechanic when I was a kid. I keep looking and found this, have you seen it before?

I agree with swath 100%. My expectations are so high that is why I became a welder/fabricator. Curious where you were to see if you were close enough to help you out. Not so close though haha.
