Default escalade cluster quesions

If I buy a new Escalade cluster will I have to reprogram my miles into that cluster or will once I plug the new cluster in, will it show the correct miles because the miles are stored in the truck's computer?

I just installed a new Denali cluster and it starts at 000000 so I guess you would have to reprogram, I just noted my miles.

You will need to go to the dealership to get the miles tuned into the new guage cluster. They will probably charge you around $40.00 or so. If you don't do this you could be in trouble when you trade the ride in with the wrong mile showing on the odometer.

I think you can also get a tech or some GM person to sign a mileage sticker that you put on you door

When I take it to the dealership, do they send it out or do they do it right there?
