Engines in Canada?

Anyone know a good place to score a 6.0 vortec in Canada? Looking to drop one in my 2000 Silverado. So far I can only find them on ebay and the freight/duty would kill me.

Where abouts in Canada? Your best bet is to check kijiji and call around to junk yards for ones locally. Thats where I found mine.

What part of the country? You can have it shipped near the border and go pick it up and just pay tax. Won't need to pay duty even if you had it shipped, but freight prices will obviously be staggeringly high.
