got a 06 sierra 5.3 has a engine vibration at idle - 1,000 rpm .
only have 5,900 mile on the truck and the dealer say's nothings wrong.
any one else having a issue with engine vibrations ?

 

Your Idle is at 1000 rpm's????? Should be like 600 from the factory. Yes, a shimmer at idle seems to be 'normal', mine did it too, untill i got it tuned.

Oh, i see you mean idle to 1000rpms. Mine would go away as soon as the rpms came up ober 800 or so.

 

mine's more than a shimmer , shakes pretty good then smooths out at around 1,100

 

Check your plugs/wires?

 

well I know sometimes new parts are bad but I would think
if it was plugs or plug wires it would set a code for a misfire .
I'm not getting a CHECK ENGINE light or any codes
