Default Engine/Transmission swap 1995 K1500

I am sure this has been mentioned a lot but I am looking to get rid of the electronics (TBI etc) and swap out for a Carbed system.

Now, the Engine swap should be easy enough, but it looks like I will have to replace the transmission also.
Can anyone recommend an engine/trans combo that would be as close to a drop in as possible? The 4wheel drive really complicates things, and i definitely want to stick with a 350 or higher.

I think I can just replace the intake, distributor and transmission to save some time. Tell me what you think?

I am choosing to do this because I hate TBI.

Thanks guys.
