Default Engine swap ?'s

Before i pull the engine out of my truck and put in the Z06 beast I would like to know if I can use the intake and injectors off the Z06 on my truck without splicing any wires? Also, are the rest of the sensors on my truck engine the same as the ones on the Vette engine? Any other help would be kick ***. I hope to have this truck out on the street soon tearing these ricers and lightning and S/C harley trucks a new A$$hole.

Is your truck throttle by wire?If so on the 99-02 Vette the throttlebodies are similar to 01 and 02 trucks, but with the throttle motor and TPS mounted on opposite sides to the truck's.The 03 and 04 trucks use a different throttlebody.I'd say on an 03 or 04 truck you'll definately be splicing wires on an 01 or 02 you might make it work without splicing.

You can use the LS6 intake if you run the Fbody/Vette accessories. It puts the throttle body too low to use the truck accessories. Seems like Silent1 used the LS6 intake with truck accessories, but it took modification. Otherwise, I think the sensors are the same.

leave the truck intake on it. if you don't, you will have clearance issues with the upper pulleys and i believe the injector plugs will have to be changed although it is not a big deal. the truck intake will give you more torque anyway. otherwise, i think everything else is the same.
