Why Is The 6.0 Better Than The Ls1? Is That Why Most Guys On Here Swap To The 6.0 Verses Teh Ls1 Because Of Torque?

More cubic inches is more cubic inches. 18 more for a 6L versus a 5.7. (I did the math in my head, could be way wrong LOL) If there is no real price difference then why not go bigger?

also i was thinkin ,when i put my new water pump and ls2 timing chain in my truck ,i might put a new ported ls6 oil pump in and a ls6 cam and srings, nothing crazy but id be cheap and pep up my 5.3 until i can afford to do the swap.would and 02 ls6 cam make a decent difference?also do i have to get new lifters when i do my cam?and since i have a 4x4 do i really have to drop front diff and my oil pan completely or can just loosen it andwing it.
