engine swap?

If I buy a crate 6.0L engine from SDPC
http://www.sdpc2000.com/catalog/120/...ate-Engine.htm
and put it in an 02 ECSB Z71 with a 5.3, obviously, there will be wire harness issues. Does anyone know what they would be?
Are all the sensors the same, just in a different location, or are they totally different?
If they are totally different, whats the best way to overcome that?
Or is it better to buy a 6.0 longblock and transfer everything over?

Doesn't matter - as long as it's LS1 based it'll be a direct swap. If it's LS2 based there will be some work involved. Try a search, this topic has been covered many many times.

That motor you linked to is GENIII based, so it would drop right in. No wiring issues as long as you used your original accessories. That's a steep price though. You can find much better deals on longblocks.

I wouldn't worry about a new one....there are plenty of pull-outs that are in great condition that will save you a ton of $$. If you're going new you might as well buy a forged short or longblock from one of the sponsors IMO.

A little. These motors, properly maintained, will run forever. I pulled my 5.3 out with 118K miles on the clock and it almost looked new inside. The cylinder walls did not show signs of wear or anything. No oil sludge buildup. If I was buying my motor used I would not have hesitated to put it in something else and run it for longevity.
I still say you should look for a low mileage pullout. If you can find one with less than 20K miles on it you should be good to go IMO.
