Well I finally got to pull my engine yesterday. Well its not as bad as I thought. just a brokin piston, my guess is caused by the knock I heard before she let go. Bigger and Better on the way .

OUCH!! My friend had one of his pistons broken as well, heard the dreaded ticking noise coming from within the block . He said the rear right piston (rear right if you look at it from the front of the truck) is usually the weakest and the first to go (dont know if that's true). Were you able to find the broken piece??? or was it completely obliterated???

Apperently the pistions are the weak link of the stock motor..

I pray that it is in the converter wich I'm going to replace. I don't think my turbo will like to eat a chunck of pistion lol I know the turbo hasn't seen it yet.
