I have access to a Vortec V8 with 4L60E trans that came out of a '99 Chev PU that I want to put it in my '66 PU. I do not have the VIN # as a reference. Is there any way to determine the difference between the 4.8 and the 5.3 (casting #'s, etc)?.....Thanks.
