Default Engine Builders in Central VA

Lots of recommendations and referals to:

Central Virginia Machine
606B Second St. NW, Burkville, VA 23922
434.767.9915

It seems they do pretty impressive work .

Anyone ever used these guys:

Competition Engine Service (CES)
Ashland, VA 804-798-1675

They are in an industrial park 5 minutes from my house, but did a drive by and the shop looked closed (granted it was a Saturday) There were a bunch of Honda parts laying around outside.

I know Shawn Miller @ Virginia Speed is considered one of the best, but VA Beach is a little far for me coming from Richmond (Hanover County).

National Speed, based out of Wilmington NC just opened a shop in Richmond, but I don't know anything about them other than their fancy website.

4022 Glenside Drive, Richmond, VA 23228

I think the hassle of driving to VA beach from RVA is well worth the comfort and peace of mind knowing you got a great engine built the right way.
