Default Engine Bolt Sizes

Hello,

Been awhile since I disassembled my lq4. Was wondering if anyone has a size chart for all of the bolts and their placement? If not, all I really need to know is what size the outer bolts are on the main caps; I believe they are 25mm in length from under the flange towards the tip? A look on google didn't turn up much. Thank you!

Hmmm... still cannot find the length, but I am pretty sure they are M8 25mm. Gonna roll with that unless someone else says different.

Why are you looking for the size? I actually have a couple i had left over when i built my L92, i can measure one but if you are trying to find replacements, you need to get them from gm because they have a sealant under the flange on the head of the bolt!

Thank you for doing that! I had two sets that looked exactly the same but one was longer. I will use some silicon under the heads when I reinstall; just didn't want to find out I used the wrong size.

If you have the old ones, they will have that orange ring around them, you can probabky just put a damn of ptfe sealant or some rtv on the flange and be good, so long as you get them torqued properly!!
