Default electric water pumps good idea??

ive heard pros and cons about electric water pumps on our trucks...the truck is highly a daily driver whats your recommendations should i go electric or keep oem...can someone post pics....

arent most electric ones ~500$. you can buy about 5-10 normal pumps for that...
