Electric water pump for 4.8 05 silverado?

They're not cheap. SDPC has the best price. You will have to cut the top hose to make it fit because the top neck exits the pump at a different angle. You will also have to cut the top plastic fan shroud a little bit because the top hose will be routed differently. You also have to use a GenI small block thermostat. I use a 160 stat. The pump bolts right up and you use the same serpentine belt. You use a 12Vdc ISO relay and trigger off of the fuel pump relay. When the key switch is turned "ON" the fuel pump is energized by the PCM. What I did was turned the fuse panel over and cut the insulation off of the coil wire for the fuel pump. I soldered the coil wire for the water pump relay to this wire. This energizes the water pump when ever the fuel pump is turned "ON". You can figure this stuff out as you install the pump.
