Electric Supercharger??

Hmmm lets try some math....
Under the best circumstances, it takes about 25HP to turn a centifugal blower making about 6-7PSI with say 800SCFM flow. 25HP is about 19kW. At 110VAC thats more than a 170AMPs. More realisticly a 45AMP 440VAC 3-phase circuit. Motors like these are commonly used in hydraulic elevators.
A 25HP electric motor is usually about 16" in diameter and 24" long. And, it weighs maybe 200-300lbs. Maybe they are 1/2 that size these days. Whatever an actual working elecrical supercharger may look like, it will look nothing like a muffin-fan.
