hey im thinking of doing the swap ,juss wondering if you have todo anything on the water pump pulleylike bolt it or anything ,looks like you didnt .does the foctory pulley stay and u just have to unscrew the fan?thanks for the info

lol, yea i figured youd say that!! im sure ill do the ls1/lt1 fan swap later on, but for now these will do the job, they work really well, and i got the power gains also, so i cant complain any, plus the free factor lol
If these are working for you, just spend the cash on a custom shroud instead of another set of fans.

yeah i guess i could just get a shroud, ill just have to see what i can come up with, if i can find some ls1's around thats decently cheap, ill just get those, just kinda depends on what i find..

nice setup, as far as i know electric fans are electric fans as long as they work lol.. i mean it cools just as good as the clutch fan assembly, gives you more power, better mpg, more resposiveness from the less weight/less rotating mass, i dont see why they didnt do it from the factory, i guess to save a couple bucks huh..

Most e-fans give around 3-5hp and same on tq. Alot of times it's lower than that even on the dyno. Just gets rid of the 4lb weight on your motor but makes a nice SOTP differance. When i did mine dropped me 3tenths in the quarter.
