So, Your waiting to price a 2005 too? I am waiting to see how much it will take me to get into a 2005 Z71 with the L33 all Aluminum 310 HP 5.3, Electric Fans and Improved Brakes. Then I too, if the trade is right, may have some fans for sale.

NO, this is a kit that I am designing, and plan to sell. HD's get the custom mounting plate. 5.3 very good motor but not enough cubes for me.

OK. Tell us about the controller. Other than reliability, to me it would be the ultimate for a signal letting the controller know the truck is @ highway speeds thus killing the fans.
Another issue I am hearing is from folks with a trans temp guage. They have a setup that activates one fan for the AC compressor and the other for coolant temps. On these trucks, particularly when towing in the city, with the trans cooler in the center, there is not enough air going through them when just one fan is running and they see the temp readout rise more so than when they had a mechnical fan setup.
I'll be waiting to see your setup. I am having fuse holder issues with Flex's. See here. SEE HERE Two more pics added.

The controller varies fan speed (load) to the temp. of coolant only. same way the engine fan does. But with the controller it vary fans speed 10% to %100. On my kit both fans will be wired together, so ac is on both fans run at 50%. I have heard that the factory engine fans run at 60% all the time. If you are worried about trans temp, I suggest you get a seperate cooling fan for the trans cooler. That way no worries about trans temp. I have one on my pickup, even when I had engine driven fan.
