I got my fans off ls1tech. There always seems to be someone parting out a T/A or Camaro LS1.

Ok, to be clear could one of you list all of the things that one should purchase when using LS1 Fans? It seems like I am missing something, lol.

You have to zip-tie them on? And how do they tie into the electrical system?

Thanks.

i took my fan shroud cut it off after 2" from the radiater, took the two pieces of fan shroud(top and bottom) layed it on the ground, took my ls1 fan shroud (the part that the fans attach too) layed it on top of the original shroud and marked the overhang. cut the ls1 shroud so it fits into the original shroud. super glued it in place. installed to make sure everything fit. took out. (this is where a lil bit of skill is involved) i duct taped the front of the new shroud, covering the holes between the ls1 shroud and the original. flip over and fiberglass holes between the two shoulds. let dry, flip back over, take duct tape off, sand, paint. and just incase you were wondering why i used duct tape, fiberglass doesnt stick to duct tape. well it sticks but it doesnt adhere like it does to everything else. and thats it
and wiring wise just pm white1, tell him you want your harness with 3 relays and he will take care of you

Wow. I guess you wouldnt have pics of that process would you? lol. Where exactly did you cut the shroud? 2in away from the radiator through the thickness, the length, or the width? as in, are you making it thinner, or changing the dimensions?

Sorry for all the questions, just hard to picture that process in words.
