Default electric cut out?

do ypu gain any power from a electric exhaust cut out? i just want it to annoy people. especially those Hemis that have that " nice exhaust note"
i found one for $150. also does that sound like a reasonable price?

I didn't gain any power with mine. On high boost/nitrous setups you might gain some. It's nice to be able to have wide open exhaust at the push of a button though

I'd recommend www.dmhperformance.com

I have a cut out, not electric, and i noticed a little differance. Not a **** load, but enough to nitice. I would get the electric cut out. I didnt get an electric one cause i got mine installed for free.99.

well, i don't have the fancy electric cutout but i do have one. and from what i have logged, i cut .2 tenths off my quarter time with it open. of course my normal exhaust is a flowmaster single in dual out. therefore, i understand why it helps me out so much. as far as the price goes, i think that is a good deal. new i think they are close to 250. but make sure you get the right size for the pipes you have
