Your LS1edit is already locked to your PCM, you'd have to get another license if you got a 01 or 02 reflash/new PCM right?

Either that or send the PCM to Carputing and get them to change the serial number to match, as well as the VIN.

THis might be a good time to update to HPTuners too. Now that you finally got EDIT working!

Don't know about the 02 trucks, but my 01 Sierra has all the EGR crap on it. I'd been looking to remove it and go to the FAST or LS6 manifold, but I think I'm just gonna stick with what I've got for now. Maybe swap an LS1 in at some point.

02 and up don't have EGR.

Are there any proven benifits of removing EGR? I have been flirting with the idea of removing it from my wife's 01 sierra.
