Default EGR pump removal

Once I get my retuned PCM from Charlie Wheatley I'm going to pull the EGR pump off my 5.3. He turned it off through the computer, and I need some other tips on doing this or is there anything else that needs to be done before pulling it off. I still got my block off plate for the pass. side header too. Anything else I need to do or get? Thanks.

I'm just going to leave mine on.

But I think you just take it off and block off the holes and you should be good to go.

For the Intake manifold you can buy the factory block off plate or make something to cover it..
