Default egr bypass?

i want to get ls1edit from allan at futral motorsports. I have heard that I can get my egr **** removed. Is this true? Does it help any? I have a 99 and I know some of the later year models have no egr. I also want to get rid of it to clean up my engine bay. I also hope the new headers I get one day will have the option of no egr valve on them so they look normal.

Anyway is there anything else that I can trash with LS1edit? thanks

you should be able to get rid of the air injection as well, unless you dont have it already. Is that a California only thing??? I think thats the only visible stuff you can get rid of
