Default Efans and motor getting hot

Okay heres my problem i have electric fans on my truck and it is getting hot, the truck is a 03 gmc sierra 1500, i have a front mount 3 core intercooler on it and i think that might be part of my problem. I have a set of efans that i got off ebay and i don't think there putting out enough cfm here is a link to them.

Do you think i could run ls1 fans or something like that or should i try and go with flexalite or something.

How much cfm do the ls1 fans put out.

Thanks for any input

You need OEM 05+ fans and radiator package

Ya i probably do but my intercooler is right in front of the radiator and my intercooler piping is right next to both sides of the radiator with no room to spare and a 05+ is a 34 inch radiator and i just don't have the room.

Are the fans connected directly to the radiator or did you build a enclosure for them? Not getting the full benefit of the fans and increase demand of your cooling system are the cause.

I would think you need a shroud as well. 5800CFM total seems like a hell of enough CFM.. I belive my permacools are something like 4500 CFM? My truck also gets hot sadly I think my T-stat is going bad tho

i pulled my efans out of a mid 90's grand prix v6..luckily they bolted in perfectly and had to cut off maybe a 1/4 inch of plastic on the fan shroud to make it a good fit. they are dual 12 inch fans and i strongly dought they pull the cfm's my v8 needs but my truck has never ran hot or over heated with them have em hooked up to a thermostat. i think you have a thermostat problem try swapping in a 180 degree one or maybe even 160
