Default efans in hot weather

I cannot remember who was posting about how efans have problems in hot weather. It ushualy gets up to 95+ everyday in the summer months here. So i was wondering how everyone else feels about them in the hot weather? Do they not keep the engine as cool as it should than the stock fan or what?

Mine have been fine in day-to-day driving, city and highway both, and it's been 110-115 the last week or so. I have problems when I'm towing though....I think it may be either a programming or radiator problem.

Well there were several folks having fan issues. Mine happened to turn out to be the POS Flex-A-Lite VSC. Yes, their updated one to boot. It has crapped out on me twice and causing an electrical voltage problem. But that will be taken care of soon enough, I have my Nelson Fan Harness ordered and should be here this week and I got the manual override, so I can turn them on anytime I need to. But other than that, they cool fine, when they are working, just don't use the damn VSC that comes with the FAL's.

It's been 100+ here for awhile and no problems. Stop and go traffic, AC on whatever. Just make sure you don't get the VSC like the others said.

Yes, if you opt for the FAL fans, just take the VSC supplied, sit it on the ground, squat, and
