Darn, I tried changing it too. The RPMs will change, but it always goes back to False when you close the window. Maybe there is a check for trans type and it turns the shift light off for Auto trans. I wonder if we could get Ken to fix the code so Auto trans can use this. I guess for it to be useful we would still need to know if there is a PCM pin or in-dash shift-light connector that can be used to tap off the shift light signal.
