edelbrock vic jr / Fast 90
has anyone tried or working on the VicJr, i'm wondering if its really gonna be that bad on the low end torque,
i wonder if it will actually help me though, i'm interested in track times, it seems a bit easier to install over Fast90. i'm just so undecieded on what to do. i know for sure it will be either one of those, with either i will be changing cams from my reverse split i have now. what are you all thoughts, anyone have some real experience they can share? my setup is in the sig. dan |

There ya go, thats the first thread I started when the install was happening, and then there is another thread where I completed the install. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=383344 The Victor and the Fast are pretty close as far as torque, but the I believe the Vic pulls away from it from 5000 and up. |
wonder what kind of difference it will make on mine with less cubes.
i guess i'm just gonna have to try the Vic Jr out, heck if it is to big, i'll just have to make up for it another way, more cubes for next year.... |
why not just go ls6? or even the l92?

Go Vic Jr., that 3500-7000 power rating is for Carb setups. You don't have to worry about poewr below that with the fuel injection cause you don't have fuel going through the runners at those low intake speeds, therefore no fuel to fall out of the air.

not tring to steal your thread but can anyone give us a list of parts needed to make the victor jr. swap
|
to hard to list and would ruin this thread. just search for rhino79 or wood hauler. They did the swap on wood haulers 408.
|
i think the vic jr would be the way for you
