I've heard about the same, not worth the money if you are you talking about the shorties ? About the long tubes, never heard of anyone that has them. Besides I just got my Arizona Speed and Marine long tubes today!!!! <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

hey now, i wouldn't talk crap about the eldelbrocks. they are way better than stock, i don't know why you where thinking that. i have them on mine now and i am very satisfied. before the headers i was running a 16.01. when i did the headers i ran a 15.3. these headers did a lot for me. hope that helps...........

I have the Edelbrocks and they are OK. I am trying to resolve an issue with them hitting the steering shaft at this time. Edelbrock has been very good to work with so far but they have an issue with the # 2 tube from the front on the drivers side hitting the steering shaft.
The stock manifolds are really good.
The Edelbrocks do increase performance but I have no dyno #'s to prove it. I installed the headers and (1) Flowmaster with duals, dual electric fans over the winter and my truck went from 15.41 to 14.63. The headers were $249 from Summit.

I just called Summit and they said edelbrock doesn't have a long tube header. they said only shortie. the guy who put mine on said they were shorties. however, he said that they were very close to equal length. which is good i guess. Summit also listed the edelbrocks for $380. I got the headers when they first came out and back then they cost $540 THAT SUX! the edelbrocks are stainless steel which is one thing i like about them also came with a 3" y-pipe.
