Default ECM or Programmer

Another bonus check coming... so

Westers and Nelson is a stand alone PCM
Send them yours and they send you a reprogrammed one right ??

Superchips, HHP3, Pedator - handhelds also reprogram but just not quite to the degree and as the tuners above
Right ?
But the hand helds - let you read codes - change tire size etc.....

Does that outweigh getting a Tuned PCM ?

Want to spent money once.....
Want to get you guys input

i currently have the superchips (supercrap if you ask me)...i will be upgrading to a crap tune as soon as you buy my superchips...or someone else buys it...

go with the customer tune for sure...they are all great guys to deal with and if you have any problems they help you unlike the hand held tuner companies...

I have had two programmers then custom tune, Just let them know what you need changed for tire size, gear change, or what not, then they will include it in the tune for no additional cost. If you want a code reader, get a Western Electronic tune, that reads and resets codes. They have them at Pepboys for $129.00. That and the custom tune will run you cheaper than lets say a Predator. So now I have a $425.00 Predator that I only keep for its code reading capabilities! My custom tune is so much better running than the predator programmer or the Hypertech.
