Default e-fans,pulleys + cam

Alright guys, I have a TR220 112 that I am getting ready to install, should I go ahead and spend the cash and throw in e-fans and underdrive pulleys at the same time? I have read conflicting opinions on the underdrive pulleys, some good some bad, but I don't know. I put a set on a 4.3 S-10 and they did not do much of anything. As for the e-fans, I might do them anyway, they seem to clean up the engine bay. I just dont know what type of tuning issues I will have making them work. I really dont want to have to just put a switch in the cab and have to turn them on and off manually all the time. I have a wait for me tune and dont know what issues I will have. What would be required to make a set of ls1 fans work, or a set of 05 electric fans from a truck run right. Let me know what you think, and what kind of improvements over stock are average for these mods?
Thanks.

I just installed e-fans on my 2k. I havn't noticed any benefits with them yet. I also have hp tuners w/ a 02 Nelson pre tuned pcm. It wasn't that hard to "tune" the e-fans when to come on. I still have to adjust them for the weather. 5 below up here in Alaska. With the Nelson wiring harness it was just plug and play. That made wiring up really easy. Install of the fans wasn't hard, just had to make 3x1 inch strips of aluminum. Then bolted them to the fans, then to the hood latch crossmember.

I gained 16rwhp doing the pulley and electric fans at the same time. I haven't had any problems with the pulley. Although, I did upgrade from the 105A alternator to the 130A when I did the swap.

I did the same thing you are thinking about. When I swapped in my cam I figured since I had to tear it apart anyway, might as well do the efans and pulleys. I went from 260 rwhp to 300 rwhp in 2nd gear with the cam, fans, pulley swap.

I have yet to install some of my goodies along the lines of cam, stall, shift kit, LT's, and n2o. No dynos up here in Alaska so I don't know what I'm putting to the pavement.
